WORKING WITH CHUDIK SCIENTIFIC
Your questions, clearly answered.
What types of projects can I discuss?
Start with a research-material chromatographic question or a proposed quantitative-content question. Availability and feasibility are confirmed for the exact material, method and references before any sample is accepted.
Can I mail a sample immediately?
Please contact the laboratory first. Wait for written sample acceptance, an agreed scope and the correct receiving address and instructions. Unannounced shipments may not be accepted.
Does an HPLC area percentage prove chemical identity?
No. A chromatographic profile describes what the method separates and detects. HPLC/DAD alone does not establish complete molecular identity or prove every component is present or absent.
Does powder weight tell me milligrams of the target compound per vial?
No. A balance measures gross powder mass. Specific analyte content requires an appropriate quantitative method and supporting reference, recovery, calibration and controls.
Do you perform mass spectrometry, sterility or endotoxin testing in-house?
The current in-house platform is HPLC with diode-array detection. Mass spectrometry, sterility and endotoxin testing are outside that platform. Any additional work requires a separately confirmed scope and a suitable provider.
Is the laboratory accredited or clinically certified?
No accreditation or clinical certification is claimed on this website. Equipment ownership and a quality documentation framework do not establish ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, CLIA certification, GLP/GMP compliance or FDA approval.
Can customers visit the laboratory?
The submission process is mail-in after prior acceptance. Customer visits and walk-in sample drop-offs are not part of the current workflow.
How much will testing cost, and how long will it take?
Price and timing depend on the exact material, method, reference requirements and deliverables. They are confirmed in the project quotation before the work is accepted.
Will remaining material be returned?
Remaining-material disposition is agreed for each project. A return depends on the material, its condition, safe and lawful handling, shipping feasibility and the agreed arrangements. Do not assume that a return is automatic.
Does a research account approve every order or sample?
No. Organization review and individual project or material acceptance are separate. An account does not establish that every requested material or use can be supported.
May I publish a report?
Discuss the intended use and authorized recipients when agreeing on the project. Any publication permission, confidentiality obligation and use of the laboratory name should be resolved in the project agreement. A report concerns the sample examined and its stated scope.
Are the results intended for medical decisions?
The laboratory’s research analytical information is not a diagnosis, treatment recommendation or demonstration of safety for human or veterinary use.
